Dr Kimberly Dienes
Stress and Relationships Therapy
I use evidence based practice to help you manage your stress, improve your mood, and change harmful patterns in your relationships. I have a PhD in Psychology, I was a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the US, and I have helped hundreds of clients through my internship, postdoc and private practice, and students through teaching and supervision. Book a free 15 minute consultation today by using the Let's Chat button to send me your contact information and we can figure out how I can help you. You can also contact me via phone, WhatsApp, Instagram or Email.

Patterns in our behaviours and our relationships form and are repeated throughout our lifetime. They can be hard to understand and change because they are so ingrained. We can feel stuck in these patterns, especially when they cause us pain. My goal is to help people identify and understand their patterns and, through treatment, learn to change them.

My Services
I offer individual and couples therapy using techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Time Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy, and Integrative Behavioural Couples Therapy (IBCT). My sessions are online or in person . During the initial session I will ask you questions about your problems, goals, barriers, and supports to help understand how we can achieve those goals.

About Me
I received my PhD from UCLA, the top clinical psychology PhD Programme in the US, after receiving my BA and MA from Stanford University. I set up my private practice in 2010 in Chicago, IL as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist while also Directing the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Programme at Roosevelt University. I moved to the UK in 2016 and have been training masters students in clinical psychology at University of Manchester and Swansea University since then. My early clinical training included work with adults and couples using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Integrative Behavioural Couples Therapy (IBCT) and Time Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP). I specialize in stress reduction (which is also my area of research), relational issues, depression, and and anxiety.
